Xavier has spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry serving in executive level position for prestigious properties throughout the United States. His responsibilities have included management, sales and customer service. Among his assignments were: General Manager of the Mutiny Condo Hotel in Coconut Grove, Florida; North America Director of Marketing for Real Hotels and Resorts; General Manager of the Houstonian Hotel; Vice President Sales & Marketing of Cunard Hotels & Resorts; as well as management and executive positions for several prominent hotel chains including Intercontinental Hotels, Westin Hotels, Hilton, Sofitel and Wyndham. he also served at the Ritz London, Waldorf-Astoria, the Houstonian and Condado Plaza in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

He was inducted into prestigious Waldorf Astoria Distinguished Alumni and currently serves on several business and tourism-related advisory boards.

Alan Barmaper is a partner in Hospitality Aadvance International and has been a leading hotel pioneer for over 18 years in the consulting arena. Alan possesses over 30 years of experience in all aspects of sales and marketing for hotels, resorts and restaurants. He attained his skills serving in variety of roles for both domestic and international hotel corporations including twelve years as a Director of Marketing in four diamond locations such as Hotel Sofitel Beverly Hills, Hotel Sofitel San Francisco Bay, Universal City Hilton & Towers and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

Xavier S. Lividini has enjoyed a distinguished career and earned an enviable reputation in the hospitality industry. He worked with Hilton Hotels Corporation for 35 years in such capacities as Director of Sales at the Waldorf Astoria and Assistant Vice President of Sales, Eastern Region, USA. Mr. Lividini served as General Manager of the Statler Hilton in New York; the New York Hilton; the Meadowlands Hilton and Harmon Plaza; Baltimore Hilton; Flamingo Hilton; New Yorker Hotel; Philadelphia Hilton and was General Manager of the Mayflower Hotel in New York for 13 years.

Mr. Lividini is a past President of the New York Hotel Association where he is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Finance Committee. He is a member of the Waldorf Astoria Distinguished Alumni Association and has served on the Board of Directors of both the New York Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Dan is a versatile and seasoned hospitality industry revenue management and distribution professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate management and executive level positions. His responsibilities and areas of expertise include pricing/revenue management, central distribution (e-commerce and voice), budgeting and forecasting, and high-level strategic planning and business analysis.

Positions that he has held include Senior Vice President of Distribution and Revenue Management with Sandals Resorts, Vice President of Business Development with TravelCLICK, and several progressively more responsible Corporate Director positions during 10 years with Wyndham International. Wyndham assignments included Director Central Reservations, Director International Sales, and Director Resort Revenue Management. He began his travel industry career with American Airlines.

Dan has been an independent hospitality consultant for the last three years working with clients in such areas as developing and implementing revenue management strategies and procedures, selecting and implementing central reservations systems and website booking engines, restructuring voice reservations operations, developing revenue pro-formas for new build properties or acquisitions, operating the revenue management function for individual properties and at the corporate level, and the opening of a sales, marketing and reservations office. A partial list of his clients include Almond Resorts, Elegant Hotels of Barbados, Hard Rock Hotels, Sunset Beach Resorts of Jamaica, Warnick and Company, a hotel industry asset management firm, Grace Bay Resorts of Turks and Caicos, TIG Global, the Online Vacation Center and the Gansevoort - Miami South Beach.

Dan holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Texas. He currently resides in Miami, Florida.

Gregg is a food and beverage management veteran who possesses over 18 years experience in food and beverage and culinary management. His professional background includes developing and implementing food and beverage marketing plans, educational instruction of the F&B staff, team leadership and responsibility for quality control. Among his many skill sets are implementing cost control programs, analyzing sales and competition, develop strategies to increase market share, evaluating service and quality, measuring customer satisfaction and seeking methods to improve the customer’s experience.

James is a full time assistant professor in the Accounting & Managerial Studies Department at LaGuardia Community College of the City University of New York (CUNY) where he teaches Marketing and Management, as well as Personal Selling, and Professional Communications.

Currently, He is a seminar leader for the college’s E-Portfolio in the Professions professional development program. He recently completed program reviews for the College’s Business Administration and Business Management degree programs. He has served as the founding Faculty Advisor for the Business Honor’s Society-Alpha Beta Gamma, and the founding Chairperson of the Department’s Business Advisory Board.

Prior to joining LaGuardia College He was an assistant profession in the hospitality management program at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT). He also served as Director of Career Services and Cooperative Education at Polytechnic University. His industry background includes sales and marketing management in hospitality and shipping.

Alina has over 15 years of hotel sales and marketing experience which includes: creating and developing sales plans and budgets; directing, training and supervising sales teams; designing and implementing international and domestic sales strategies as well as developing key corporate accounts. She has served as Director of Marketing and Sales for Quality Hotel Real Aeropuerto and held management level sales & marketing positions at the Congresso GBA and the Hotel Intercontinental Santo Domingo.

Alina is fully bilingual (Spanish / English) and well experienced in understanding and addressing the needs of travelling business executives, corporate meetings and important social events.
